Our group represents the amalgamation of Enviro Waste, Royal Flush & Disposal and Green Waste Systems—each an established leader in refuse collection, removal and recycling. By expanding our operations and services, while reducing our carbon footprint, we now boast the largest commercial/industrial fleet of collection vehicles within HRM supported by an experienced, professional and responsible workforce.

Operating under the banner "REgroup," Royal Environmental Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Municipal Group of Companies. We provide complete waste removal and disposal services, including recyclable and compostable materials, to over 2,000 customers within HRM.

Originally established in 1990 as Enviro Waste Limited, our organization recently expanded its operations to include Royal Flush & Disposal and Green Waste Systems. Today, we boast the largest fleet of commercial/industrial collection vehicles within the Halifax Regional Municipality, with 60% of our trucks dedicated to recycling.

At Royal Environmental (REgroup), we provide all containers required for refuse materials, and services are dispatched from our Kearney Lake office on daily, weekly, monthly and “as-needed” schedules. Our team takes great pride in the high standard of service we consistently deliver to customers—a growing list that entails commercial centres, office towers, banks, restaurants, construction companies and residential complexes.

Waste

With a fleet of over 45 trucks, REgroup is able to meet all of your waste removal requirements. We have the ability to service any size account – from hospitals and universities to convenience stores – with a variety of container sizes, as well as commercial curbside collection.

Construction

For small and large contractors alike, Royal Environmental provides roll-off bins in a variety of sizes and styles. Metal, wood, brick and concrete, shingles and asphalt... we can accommodate the disposal needs of virtually any construction or cleanup job. We also have a separate division that provides portable toilets (Royal Flush) as well as an affiliate that sorts and processes construction/demolition debris (RDM Recycling).

Recycling

With environmental stewardship a top priority, REgroup is a local leader in diverting materials from landfills. Our commitment to recycling is demonstrated by the waste streams we service:

• Blue bag recycling (metals, plastics and refundables)
• E-waste recycling

Compost

As the first company in Nova Scotia to introduce an organic cart exchange program—along with implementing cardboard recycling—REgroup is a local leader in diverting materials from landfills. In fact, we pioneered the technology for the sanitation and deodorization of organics bins in the region, and are the largest such company in HRM to provide this service in-house.Our green bins incorporate the most efficient and cleanest method of organics collection available today, including:

• Steam cleaned, deodorized carts delivered on a regular schedule
• Traditional pickup service as well as premium cart-swap exchange
• Easy-to-use 64 gallon capacity hinged plastic commercial carts
• Flexible pick-ups for added requirements during increased volume periods
