RISE is a subsidiary of COPE Community Services, Inc. (COPE), a 501(c)3 corporation that serves residents and faith-based community organizations throughout Pima County by creating employment opportunities through recycling.The RISE Equipment Recycling Center (ERC) provides Tucson, South Tucson, and Pima County residents with electronic equipment recycling services.

Unwanted electronic equipment is processed in the ERC facilities and, whenever possible, is returned to the community. When refurbishing is not possible, materials are responsibly recycled.Donating electronic equipment and electrical appliances to the ERC helps provide employment to area residents and supports a local non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the amount of hazardous materials going into local landfills.

RISE Equipment Recycling Center processes donated office equipment and furniture to sell at a reduced price to non-profit organizations, their clients, and low income familes and their children.
The retail store is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, and from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. Check the Events page on this website for information on upcoming sales and recycling events.Computers that are donated to the Recycling Center are evaluated for functionality and compatibility with Microsoft Registered Refurbisher (MRR) donated software. If a computer is refurbishable, it is cleaned and repaired and the hard drive is wiped clean of all data and programs. The computer is loaded with a licensed Microsoft Windows XP Professional Operating System and Microsoft Office 2007 Suite Basic.Refurbished computer systems (computer, CRT monitor, mouse, and keyboard) is loaded with a licensed Microsoft Windows Pro7 operating system and Microsoft 2010 Office Home & Student.

Recycling

Your donations to the RISE Equipment Recycling Center preserve the environment by reducing the amount of materials going into community landfills. The Recycling Center recycles and refurbishes computer and electronic equipment. The Recycling Center donates or sells equipment at a reduced price to non-proft organizations, their clients, and low income families.

Recycle Pick Up Events:

• Computer and electronic recycling is free.
• We are no longer accepting CRT TV's or CRT Monitors, LCD flat screen TV's and monitors are still accepted.
• Large household appliances are not accepted for recycling.

Donations

Your donations to the Equipment Recycling Center (ERC) help preserve the environment by reducing the amount of materials going into our community's landfills. The ERC accepts donations of all types of electronic equipment (except for cathode ray tube [CRT] televisions and CRT computer monitors) at no charge to the public.
CRT monitors and CRT TVs are no longer accepted.
