Recycling Makes Cents was started in 2006 at a small industrial building. Zack Hakim (owner) had an idea about recycling large volumes of cardboard and paper and rebating customers for their recycling efforts. Within a few years this idea grew so that the company had to move to its present location and to expand into other material as their customer base grew. 

Since inception, the company has had to increase staff and equipment to keep up with customers' needs and they are always researching different materials to recycle. Recycling makes Cents offers recycling management to both the private and public sectors and services residential, commercial and industrial customers within Windsor & Essex County.
