Real Alloy™ is one of the world’s largest consumers of aluminum scrap and by-products. Our experienced team of buyers purchase essentially all grades of aluminum for our network of recycling and manufacturing facilities around the world. We employ a wide range of furnaces and processing equipment, enabling us to safely clean and refine recycled scrap -- from the lowest recovery drosses and impure post-consumer scrap, to clean industrial scrap.

Manufacturers with specific alloy needs come to Real Alloy™. Our specification alloy operations combine various aluminum scrap types with hardeners and other additives to produce alloys and chemical compositions specified by customers for their particular applications.Real Alloy™ purchases large quantities of scrap for the production of specification alloys, which we then deliver directly to customers in molten or solid forms. Or, a customer can provide Real Alloy™ with the scrap to process, which we then return to that customer in a closed loop sequence. Real Alloy™ also acquires materials from the open market to produce specification alloy products that we then sell on the open market.

CASTING
The molten aluminum alloy is either delivered directly to customers in specially designed crucibles or poured into a mold, allowing it to solidify into special shapes: low-profile sow, several sizes of ingot, 2- and 4-way sows.
FOUNDRY / CAST ALLOYS
Over the past several decades, aluminum has gained a leading position among foundry / casting metals. That’s because in addition to its acknowledged advantageous material properties, aluminum enables the widest possible variety of casting and joining processes. The almost unlimited recyclability of aluminum makes it distinctly superior to other casting metals. Real Alloy™ is a leading manufacturer of aluminum casting alloys based on secondary raw materials, with a range of more than 200 different alloys.
