Operating as a family owned business since 1977, we continue to live, shop and play right here in Prineville. Emily’s parents, Gary and Sally Goodman, bought J & H Garbage Service in June of 1977. At the time, J & H had the franchise with the city of Prineville and with one truck, emptied metal cans throughout the town and county. The business was operated out of Gary & Sally’s home until 1990, when they began running the Crook County Landfill. In 1996, they moved their operation just north of town where the business currently operates.
Both native Prineville residents, Steve & Emily bought the business from her parents in January, 2007. With a growing business and a growing family, life is never boring. We hope that the changes we have made will improve both our service to you, our customer and demonstrate our continued commitment to the community we love.
