I’ve found it to be true that success in life and in business is rarely the result of being the smartest person in the room or even the most talented. I truly believe that success is a result of having a superior mindset and an unparalleled work ethic towards specifically defined goals on a consistent basis. As any successful entrepreneur will tell you, you’ve got to have a burning desire and passion about what you do or you’ll never be willing to sacrifice the time and effort it takes to build a thriving business. My passion for the cellular phone industry started at an early age in high school distribution I developed a local business which specialized in ringtones. I quickly became known around town as the “cellphone guru” as I would buy and sell just about anything related to cellphones. It was never about the actual money I made, rather it was about the exhilarating feeling I’d get closing a deal and helping others solve their cellphone problems. Electing to forego college and pursue my passion in life, I purchased in 2007 a distressed retail cellular phone store that was about to go under and turned it around into a thriving business which I sold at double the purchase price in just 11 months time. After selling the store, I shifted my focus to the wholesale side of the cellular phone industry and formed “Prestige Wholesale”, a Florida based corporation predominantly focused on the distribution of IDEN cellular phones worldwide. I have since taken Prestige Wholesale from a start up company based out of my living room to a two-time Inc. 5000 award winner for being one of the fastest growing companies in America (2012 and 2014). Prestige Wholesale has grown to become one of the largest IDEN wholesalers in the world. I am excited to announce that Prestige Wholesale is launching a new division called “Prestige Recycling” which focuses on the active procurement of electronic waste by a process called urban recycling. Urban recycling is a method of recovering precious metals (gold, silver, copper, etc.) through electronic waste by extracting precious metals from cellular phones, computers, printers, and any other source containing precious metals. The precious metals are extracted in big bulk quantities from the electronic waste and subsequently recycled thereby helping the environment. Bernardo Danzi is the Vice President of Prestige Wholesale. He came to the United States from Brazil when he was 17 years old with the dream of having a better life. He started working for Prestige Wholesale and became a master technician in cellular repair. He developed his passion for electronics when he was 14 years old, the day he started rebuilding computers at a very young age.
