PMI's Engineered Products is a rapidly growing part of our business. Structural steel tubing products, also known as Hollow Structural Sections (HSS), are a widely used commodity tubing product used throughout the world for a wide variety of applications. Phillips Metals Inc. is an expert in providing structural squares, rectangles, and rounds to a broad and expanding customer base throughout North America.
Structural tubing is produced to ASTM A-500 specification (grades A, B, and C) in a diverse range of shapes and sizes.Paragon Tube manufactures squares from 1" through 5", rectangles from 2" x 1" through 6" x 2", and rounds from 1" through 4-1/2" OD in wall thicknesses up to .250" wall.
Structural steel tube applications include automotive, heavy truck, defense, recreational axle, trailer, construction, material handling, waste, agriculture, and energy.
