History

Founded in 1989, OPRSystems, Inc. is an independently owned and operated recycling facility. We are dedicated to providing efficient and cost effective solutions for individual, commercial and industrial organizations with all types of waste paper, shredding and document destruction requirements.

In 2004, OPRSystems expanded from an 18,000 square foot facility to a 76,000 square foot processing facility to accommodate the growing number of clients and recyclable materials.This state-of-the-art facility houses the latest equipment for the processing of not only paper recycling but cardboard, cans & bottles and our newest addition electronics. This advanced technology enables us to be more cost effective and pass the savings onto our customers.

CARDBOARD AND PAPERBOARD ARE RECYCLED INTO MORE OF THE SAME

Corrugated cardboard is very popular and used to make boxes for shipping. It is comprised of corrugated fiber paper, sandwiched by sturdy sheets of cardboard. Once this cardboard has been deposited into the trash or recycling bin, it is referred to in the industry as old corrugated cardboard, or OCC.Paperboard (also called boxboard or chipboard) is flat, stiff and often coated to give a glossy appearance. It is used for items such as cereal boxes, beverage cartons, shoeboxes and tissue boxes. Paperboard is not cardboard, but based from the same material..

Confidentiality

OFF-SITE SHREDDING

Customers place confidential documents in locked containers, then OPRSystems Inc picks up the containers and securely places them onto trucks clearly marked with OPRSystems,Inc logo. We transport your documents directly to our facility.

Upon arrival at OPRSystems, Inc the material is weighed and brought to the secured shred area in the warehouse. All documents are shredded and baled to ensure your firm’s security. After the process is complete the client will be provided with a Certificate of Destruction.

DROP-OFF SHREDDING

Our shredding facility is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
There is no need to make an appointment, just bring your sensitive documents to our facility and witness your documents as they are completely destroyed.We provide each client with a Certificate of Destruction.
