Ontario Lamp Recyclers Inc. was formed in 2007 to ensure that fluorescent lamp waste is properly treated pursuant to MOE requirements.In 2012 Ontario Lamp Recyclers moved to new fixed facility in Toronto which allows for the treatment of any type of lamp from anywhere in Canada.We are members of the Ontario Waste Management Association and the Recycling Council of Ontario.

Facility

Ontario Lamp Recyclers Inc. has four separate Certificates of Approval / Environmental Compliance Approvals from the Ministry of the Environment specifically for recycling and handling lamp waste.The facility operates under negative air with emissions from a dust collector discharged under an MOE air approval.Certificates of Recycling are issued for each shipment or project. Certificates describe quantity of lamps, client and site indicating that everything was treated pursuant to MOE requirements.

Shipping

Ontario Lamp Recyclers Inc. can pick up your lamp waste or can make arrangements with third party carriers to deliver to our facility.We pick up throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario ourselves.Please contact us to find out the pickup rates in your area.Whole fluorescent lamps can be transported in Ontario under a Bill of Lading pursuant to O.Reg. 102/07. Manifesting as hazardous waste is not required if the material is destined for a common mercury waste treatment facility and the carrier has evidence of such on board.
