History

Prior to starting Northwest Metals & Salvage Service, Inc, Brad Rinker worked at Pacific Iron & Metal in 1974 as a laborer, operator, and truck driver. Later he went to work for the Purdy Company of Illinois as a scrap buyer. His extensive background in the scrap metal industry allowed him to establish Northwest Metals in 1989. With his experience & qualifications, Brad & his wife Lisa, made Northwest Metals a full service non-ferrous scrap metal recycling yard. Northwest Metals branched out early on in the demolition industry by first removing mechanical equipment and large scrap projects off site. In 1994 Northwest Metals added on a full service demolition division to the company; specializing in mechanical demolition, concrete demolition, building stripping, elevated structures, & water tanks.Northwest Metals’ core management have been together for 20 years and some of the crew have also been with the company as long as 15 years, all the while providing customers with a professional, clean, & safe job site. Our customers are ensured satisfaction by the confidence & hard work our employees provide.Safety education, training, and practice are our first priority!

We accept iron & steel but we do not pay for it.We charge a fee for appliances. We do not accept fridges, freezers or air conditioners. Please call for quote.We accept non-filled/plated gold & silver such as- jewelry, dental caps, candlesticks, silverware, coins (older than 1964), etc.
