We are a family owned & operated garbage and recycling business since 1966. Our service area covers North Lincoln County from Beverly Beach to Rose Lodge. We offer residential & commercial service, mobile storage rentals, shredding of sensitive documents, & pickup of large items.

Recycling

Our recycling programs include curbside pickup and self haul options. Electronics Recyling
We accept computers, peripherals (keyboards & mice) and televisions for free at the Hwy 101 Recycling Center and the Schooner Creek Transfer Station. There is a small disposal fee for televisions in wooden cabinets.

Paint Recycling
In 2010, NLSS began recycling the paint dropped off here in Lincoln City and is now offering it for sale at our Highway 101 office. The paint is $30 for a 5 gallon bucket and comes in a variety of colors; come in to the office to see true paint samples.

Wood and Yard Debris Disposal and Recycling

Acceptable items include lumber (please no painted or treated wood), limbs, stumps (minimal dirt). We are no longer accepting brush, grass, and yard trimmings. Items should be free of trash. Please remove any metal larger than a 16 penny nail.

Self Haul
We offer wood and yard debris drop off at Schooner Creek Transfer Station. You can take loads of wood and/or yard debris there to be recycled for the discounted rate of $6 per cubic yard.
Customers that live within the city limits of Lincoln City can call for one free voucher per month to take a load of wood and/or yard debris to the transfer station. Call 541-994-5555 to have your voucher mailed to you or feel free to stop by our office at 1726 SE Hwy 101 and pick it up.

Curbside Pick Up
We offer curbside service for woody debris on Mondays and Wednesdays during the summer months and Wednesdays only the rest of the year. You may provide your own container, or you can rent a 1.5 yard container for a special rate. You may use special paper yard debris bags, available for purchase at Ace Hardware. Please do not put the debris in plastic bags. We also offer special wood only rates on our 10, 20, 30, and 40 yard drop boxes. Call us to request rates for any of our special “Wood Only” containers.

Document Shredding

North Lincoln Sanitary offers secure shredding services of your sensitive documents for a small fee. Drop your documents by the office during regular business hours, and they will by shredded by Iron Mountain Secure Shredding. Or, if you prefer to be present during the shredding, we can provide this service while you wait. Please call to make an appointment and for fees.

Medical Waste

Medical waste, syringes, and dressings should be disposed of properly according to state law.  Do not place these items in your trash. Please call our office for disposal instructions.

Sharps
You can purchase approved 1 gallon sharps containers at our office for $10. Simply return it when it is full—the cost for the disposal has been paid.
