Niles Iron & Metal Company, LLC is celebrating 92 years of service in the Mahoning Valley. Founded in 1917 by the Clayman Family, “Nimco” is a privately owned expanding company in three recycling categories:We have two locations in Niles, OH, which boasts the most modern of processing and transportation equipment. Our South Main Street yard, situated on 52 acres, is devoted to the purchase, processing, storage, and transportation of all grades of iron and steel scrap.

We buy from many sources in the Northeast Ohio and Western, Pennsylvania area. Shipments by rail and trucks are made to steel mills and foundries in a greater area.Our Main Street location is also a buyer of wastepaper. We service dozens of grocery stores, industrial producers, national chains, and the general public. We in turn sell to mills throughout North America.Our Federal Street location is devoted for purchasing, processing, storage, and transport of all grades of non-ferrous metals, particularly aluminum. As with steel and iron, we purchase from many sources and we sell our products nationwide to many plants.Niles Iron & Metal Company, LLC has taken pride in exceeding our customers’ expectations. Throughout its history, NIMCO has been a leader in servicing industrial accounts in the area.We offer our clientele many options for scrap removal. Boasting a fleet of 10+ tractors, Niles Iron can offer services throughout the tri-state area. Our arsenal of equipment includes rolloffs, lugger boxes, flatbeds, dropdocks, open top trailers, van trailers, and car haulers.
Oversize pieces weighing up to 25 ton are our specialty as we have the proper equipment to safely off load and then process. Pickups are made on an on-call basis, usually the same day. Payments are prompt.
