Newco Metals, Inc. was founded in 1986 as a metal trading company supplying aluminum billet to the extrusion industry and trading in the primary aluminum industry. In 1987, Newco started trading in the automotive and die casting industries and moved its office just northeast of Indianapolis to a 12 acre scrap purchasing, processing and trading facility. Newco quickly expanded from a 10,000 square foot warehouse to a 50,000 square foot warehouse and added 20,000 square feet of concrete for materials processing. Over the years, Newco has continuously grown, adding equipment including two balers, shake-tables, roll-off and semi trucks, spectrographic and x-ray analysis, radiation detection and surveillance equipment. Most recently, a fraud prevention/inventory control/retail sales system called ScrapDragon was added to further enhance our operations.
Our customers are our most valuable resource and it’s one we like to recycle as many times as we can. New customers are always welcome but those that choose to do repeat business are extra special. When a customer calls Newco Metals, one of our carefully trained representatives will answer, not a machine. We let our machines handle our scrap, not our customers. WE PAY YOU TO RECYCLE
Many recycling companies charge their customers to recycle. At Newco Metals, WE PAY YOU! Collect all your unused and unwanted scrap metal (see acceptable items below) and bring it to either of our convenient north side locations for recycling.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive you’ll drive over our truck scale. At this time, your vehicle will be scanned for radiation (no exceptions). A friendly Newco Metals employee will then assign you one or more bins into which you’ll place your recyclable items. Place your items in the bins according to type – don’t worry, we’re here to help if you’re unsure. Once you’ve emptied your recyclables into the bins, we will weigh the items and issue your ATM ticket. Simply scan your ticket at the ATM machine and get your cash. It really is that easy! Rest assured, you will be taken care of, with honesty and friendliness, in a timely manner!
