Midshore Recyclers, Inc. was established in 2007, located in Hurlock, Maryland on the beautiful Eastern Shore. While we have only been established since 2007, our sister company Schultz & Sons Salvage of Denton, MD and the Schultz family have been operating for 50+ years.We donate and sponsor many local events from the Tuckahoe Steam & Gas shows, Checkered Flag’s monster truck shows, the demolition derby at the Delaware State Fair, local sports teams and car shows, etc. We also work with local fire departments to provide them with a location and vehicles to perform practices and Live training.We buy, process, and sell both ferrous and non-ferrous metals by transporting scrap materials to larger yards for exporting. We will continuously strive to be leaders in this industry by keeping our locations clean, safe, and as helpful as possible to our customer’s needs.
Our customer base not only includes the general public, tow companies and salvage yards, construction and demolition companies, large corporations and small businesses, local, county, state, and federal government entities including military facilities and state highways. We have a full fleet of tractor trailers, rolloffs, and whatever else you may need to service all of your scrap metal needs.Midshore Recyclers, Inc. has an insulated copper wire granulating machine they nicknamed the "Everlasting Gobstopper Machine". This machine preshreds insulated wire carrys it up a conveyer belt and spits it out as granulated copper chops. It looks like copper sand. We use a computerized program to weigh and pay our customers. This program is called Scrap Dragon. We Also use Fairbanks scales which are inspected often to ensure they are 100% correct. We have mobile Balers which we use on site to not only crush cars and trucks into bales, but also to make bales of copper aluminum, aluminums, etc.. We mobilize these when we have "crush out" jobs at other facilities.
We are the sister company of Schultz and Sons Salvage in Denton, Md. We have been open at this location for 5 years, buying all scrap metals and sellong used car and light truck parts. We have been family owned and operated for over 50 years.
