The Midland Recyclers organization operates the Midland Recycling Center located in front of the Municipal Landfill located on East Ashman in Midland between Waldo and Rockwell Roads. In addition to operating the recycling center, Midland Recyclers is very active in the community through environmental education and participation in a variety of community events.

Midland Recyclers Mission:

To educate the community on resource conservation through waste reduction, reuse, and recycling.  Toconserve resources by giving residents and businesses an opportunity to recycle by operating the Midland Recyclers Center where materials are accepted and processed.  This includes many materials not accepted by other programs.  To provide volunteer and work experience opportunities to individuals of all ages and abilities.  To offer cost efficient waste reduction and document destruction options to residents and small businesses.

It’s Gold to Go Green Program
Midland Recyclers offers fee-based collection of recyclables to Midland County area businesses, organizations and residents. We’re the only recycler in the Midland area that will pick up cardboard, office paper, glass and plastic bottles, newspapers, magazines, polystyrene foam, and plastic and paper bags.
DIY No-Cost Paper Shredder
NEW to the Gold to go Green program is a new light duty industrial paper shredder which can handle up to 100 sheets at a time. The do-it-yourself shredder is located at the Midland Recyclers Recycling Center and is available at no charge, however donations are accepted.
Event Recycling
Having a large event? Midland Recyclers can provide event recycling services to your business or organization. Our customers include Midland County Fairgrounds and Midland Loon’s Baseball. We provide the collection containers and staff to collect cardboard and beverage containers. Educating people on the benefits of waste reduction, reuse, and recycling will continue to be Midland Recyclers primary mission; you will see our informative displays and hands-on activities at these events as well.
