Material Recycling was founded in 1974.  It started at the corner of Morgan and Burkhardt Roads and was attatched to the Trading Post Convienece Store.  In accompanyment with a Material Recycling warehouse fire in 1998, Thorton Oil Company purchased the property and leveled the site for a proposed Thorton's gas station.  MRI moved to their new location in 1999 at 2340 North Burkhardt Road.  

Material Recycling has grown to recycle nearly 300,000 beverage cans per week, not to mention aluminum scrap, cast, insulated wire, copper and brasses.  Our facility has the latest bailing, shearing, and warehouse transportation technology in the area.  The processing of non-ferrous metals isn't just a job, for us it is our life blood.  We are proud to continue to uphold our company motto and environment by, "preserving tomorrow by recycling today."

On-Site
