Marshall Auto Wreckers Ltd. was established in the 1920's with Gordon Marshall as owner and located in downtown Lethbridge at that time.As a young man John Babick began working for Gordon, soon becoming the Manager and directing the move of the business to its current location, one mile east of Lethbridge on the Sunnyside Road.John and his two sons, Ken & Mark, eventually bought the business from Gordon Marshall. Since that time, John has retired, leaving the business in the capable hands of his sons. Ken and Mark have expanded to automotive recycling operation to include a scrap metal business. (Marshall Metals Ltd.).Marshall Auto Wreckers’ current 60 acres location on the Sunnyside Road stocks approximately 5000 vehicles with 16 employees processing and dismantling late model vehicles, whose parts are inventoried stored in 30,0000 sq ft of warehouse space.
