From simple beginnings in the 1980’s when Manco collected cardboard from businesses in the Quinte Region to where we are today, a full service recycling and waste company, Manco Recycling Systems remains the locally owned and operated independent choice for your recycling program.In addition to collecting your material for recycling we own and operate the regions Material Recovery Facility (MRF) located in the Town of Greater Napanee where we process and ship well over 10,000 tonnes of recyclables to end markets annually.We listened to our customers and understand their desire to have a single service provider handle all of their waste and recycling needs.

Today Manco has filled that need throughout Eastern and Central Ontario. Manco Recycling Systems Inc. has commercial and industrial service routes in major Municipalites such as Kingston, Belleville, Trenton, Cobourg, Port Hope, Napanee and Gananoque.
We service the counties of Frontenac, Leeds & Grenville, Hastings, Prince Edward, and Northumberland.With our high yield commercial Material Recovery Facility (MRF) located in Greater Napanee, our catchment area cover most of South Eastern Ontario.

ENVIRONMENT
Manco Recycling Systems is licensed by the Ministry of the Environment with a Certificate of Approval to operate our business in recycling, waste collection as well as the operation of our recycling processing centre.At Manco our commitment to the environment and the communities in which we operate extends beyond our operational requirement. It is our responsibility to offer sustainable solutions to divert more waste from landfill as we reduce our carbon footprint. Small changes such as modernizing equipment and processes in our plant give us a higher yield in process material shipped out to the mills for recycling and less residue going to landfill.When faced with storage issues, we chose to expand our dock facility and utilize tractor trailers to both store and load material for shipping vs. expanding our warehouse which would require heating, lighting and greater equipment and energy costs.Finally, if you have material going to waste, please call our team at Manco Recycling Systems to investigate the possibility of recycling instead. CARDBOARD RECYCLING
Manco Recycling Systems is the market leader in recycling used cardboard. We collect 100’s of tonnes each week from businesses large and small throughout Eastern Ontario. We utilize roll-off bins, compactors, small containers and even collect the material curb-side or from your door.

PAPER RECYCLING
Manco Recycling Systems recycles all types of used paper including office paper, flyers, boxboard and mailing envelopes to name just a few. If it is a paper based product then we can recycle it for your business.

PLASTICS, GLASS AND CANS RECYCLING

Similar to what you place at the curb, Manco recycles all types of beverage containers made from rigid plastics, glass bottles, aluminum and tin cans. Remember recycling does not finish at home. These type of items are also generated where you work. We have customized containers to assist in diverting these items from landfill.For industrial customers we recycle plastic film, process materials and able to customize a plan to offer the best possible recycling solution.

PROCESSING

Manco Recycling System Inc. owns and operates a commercial Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in the Town of Greater Napanee.As the region’s independent commercial recycling centre, we are strategically located along the Hwy 401 corridor to complement our collection routes and reach end markets throughout Ontario.

We currently collect, process and market all types of fibre (cardboard, boxboard, paper, print media), plastics (#1-#7) and various types of industrial film plastics along with tin, aluminum and glass containers.It is a tremendous advantage for Manco to be able to process what we collect. Remember, recycling does not end by placing your items out for pick-up. If recycling collectors do not have markets for the material collected then the recycling system fails. By closing the loop and processing materials that we collect, Manco Recycling Systems can truly recycle what we collect and close the loop.
