Dumpster Rentals by Load-N-Lift Disposal was founded in 2007 by Tom & Susan Blakeman. They were looking to serve a need in their community for reliable and cost effective waste management for most homeowners, contractors and small businesses.

Although the company may seem "new" its roots go far back in the family's history. Tom's parents Cyril and Alice started Cy's Cartage/Industrial Waste Disposal in the 1950's. Cy's Cartage was a pioneer in its own right servicing over 300 commercial clients with rear end packers. Alice was a very busy lady being the company sign painter and bookkeeper. She was responsible for lettering all the trucks and made sure the finances ran smoothly all the while being a stay at home mom looking after her children. In 1973 & 1974 both Cy and Alice passed away and the business was sold while the children were very young to A. Smith Disposal.

Tom at a young age worked for A. Smith Disposal and later in the recycling industry working for many different disposal companies operating various types of disposal equipment, as well as being promoted to a driver trainer. In 2007 Tom went back to his roots in the disposal industry that he knows best. It was with a little saved money and much determination and dedication that Dumpster Rentals by Load-N-Lift Disposal was born. Like his father's business before Dumpster Rentals by Load-N-Lift didn't start out as a landscaping or home building company. Their roots and expertise was the Disposal and Waste Management Industry. As Tom's father used to say to him many years ago stay true to doing what you do best.

Dumpster Rentals by Load-N-Lift Disposal has grown rapidly and become well known in the community for Tom's personal service as well as its affordability, especially to homeowners looking for guidance. The family tradition continues with son Kris also being an integral part of its success. Our military families being posted through CFB Trenton have come to count on Dumpster Rentals by Load-N-Lift for their disposal needs.

TV production companies for HGTV such as "I Wrecked My House" and "Income Property" who have filmed in the Northumberland/Quinte /PEC areas have had high praise for Dumpster Rentals by Load-N-Lift's honest up front pricing and reliable service. Dumpster Rentals by Load-N-Lift Disposal has also become a favourite of community and sporting events needing reliable waste management such as Maguire's Motor Sports, the Cobourg Highland Games and the Colborne Country Jamboree to mention a few.
