Leferink Transfer Limited is a Waste and Recycling Transfer Facility serving the local area by providing disposal options for garbage. We receive waste from large and small haulers, contractors, businesses, and local residents and reload it into tractor trailers for disposal at approved waste and recycling facilities in Canada and the United States.Leferink forms an integral part of the Region’s comprehensive recycling initiative by transferring all the Blue Box material and Green Bin waste from Georgetown, Acton, and North Milton to their respective markets on behalf of the Regional Municipality of Halton.Friendly professionalism with an emphasis on service has been the hallmark of our family-owned business for more than 50 years.

Haulers

Our facility consists of a 6000 square foot building specifically designed for the efficient handling of residential, commercial and industrial waste.The tipping floor is equipped with an eight foot push wall and a thirteen foot deep loading bay for optimum viewing and load maximization.The landscaped yard, paved driveway and graveled areas for lowering roll-off bins for untarping, are functional and attractive. Two main receiving doors are available with emergency access to another.Waiting times are kept to a minimum by diverting smaller loads to other areas of the yard. Large and small haulers alike have found our facility much more cost effective than driving longer distances to jammed facilities.The forty foot digital scale has a remote indicator seen by the driver to ensure correct weights. Leferink has been a long standing member of the Ontario Waste Management Association.

Contractors

Leferink Transfer provides contractors with a conveniently located waste disposal option. Our site boasts paved access, indoor off-loading as well as competitive rates based on weight. Residential

Our transfer facility is located 2 blocks north of Hwy 7 (Guelph St.) at 57 Armstrong Ave., Georgetown, ON L7G 4S1. We are open to the public on a user fee basis.Whether you live in Town or in the rural area, Leferink provides an alternative to driving to Milton to dispose of your garbage. The cost is less and the service is great! We also accept items not collected by the Regional Hauler or, if you don't want to wait for the next large item pick-up day, come visit us.
