Land Shark Shredding was started by Don Gerard, Jr., who is a Bowling Green, KY native and two-time graduate of Western Kentucky University. Don is a U.S. military veteran who served active duty as a United States Air Force officer and C-130 pilot.Once he decided to leave the Air Force, Don entered the private sector working as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both public practice and private industry. Additionally, Don has over 10 years of experience working as a commercial banker for some of the nation’s largest banks.
Combined, Don has 20+ years of experience working with confidential information for both the federal government (where he had a top-secret security clearance) and in the private sector, working with both small and large companies and individuals. Throughout this time, Don worried about how his employers were safe-guarding the security of his firms’ client data when it was time to purge their files.
