Lake State Recycling Inc was founded by Chris Baumgardt and Harley Hanson in 2010 in Nowthen, Minnesota. They started primarily recycling commercial electronic scrap and non-ferrous metals. They have since outgrown their first location and are now located in Elk River, Minnesota where they have a 25,000 square foot facilty. They now have expanded their services to include e-scrap, non-ferrous, ferrous, precious metals and catalytic converters. Together they have a combined 30 years of experience in the recycling industry. No matter what material you may have that needs processing, with their background and knowledge they will assist you through the recycling process.

Lake State Recycling Inc. offers covered loading and unloading areas for your convenience, load or unload without ever worrying about the weather. We live in Minnesota and the weather can be quite unpredictable. We want to make sure that your experience with us is more than satifactory.

Rolloffs Available Upon Request

If you have material that you aren't sure how to transport. Just give us a quick call and we will help you set up a pickup. Roll-off containers or semi trailers are available for pick up and delivery. If you have a smaller load don't worry we can still arrange pickup. We will work with you to make sure that your material arrives at our business as quickly and economically as possible.
