KRAS is an internationally operating company with its head office in Volendam. Started with an old cargo bike in 1951 to collect rags and scrap iron, the company has grown into a group of companies with locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Kosovo and Hong Kong. In the first place, KRAS is a complete service provider for companies in the collection, sorting, processing and sale of their waste streams of paper, cardboard, foils and plastics.

The waste collected by KRAS is made suitable for reuse or processed into raw material for new products. KRAS carries out the processes itself or makes use of reliable partners. The processes are completely transparent and can be followed by all parties involved.

Thanks to extensive knowledge of the market and an extensive network, built up over the past sixty-five years, KRAS is engaged in the trade of raw materials and semi-finished products. KRAS trades with and sells to certified end users worldwide.

KRAS is a family business. Internally, a balanced flow of generations has been ensured, which guarantees continuity in knowledge and quality. The characteristic values ​​of the family business have been carefully passed on. But the third generation Kras also looks ahead and is ambitiously looking for new innovations and pushing the next boundaries.
