The mission of Iron Horse Recycling is to build trusting and lasting relationships with our customers, as a locally owned and operated business. We will be fair and honest in all transactions, and serve our community by providing metal recycling to everyone.

Iron Horse Recycling is a locally run and locally owned company. We are a subsidiary of Vernor Material and Equipment. The Vernors and VME have been serving the community since 1958. In 1984 the Vernors began their first recycling program which offered recycling services to the business community with a focus on industrial warehouse and other metal generating companies.

VME wishes to now offer metal recycling to everyone in our community. This means expanding our services beyond the commercial world to include the general public. With this in mind VME has created Iron Horse Recycling.

Iron Horse Recycling will be fair and honest in all transactions with our buyers and our sellers. It is our goal as a recycling entity to serve our community with respect for our customers and our competitors.
