Going Green Metal Recycling (Cicero, Ind.) and Going Green II Metal Recycling (Kokomo, Ind.) are subsidiaries of Indiana Metal Group (IMG), a family owned scrap metal processing network that leads the Midwest in customer service, fair dealings, and environmental care and concern. Both Going Green locations serve Central Indiana with full-service scrap metal recycling services such as retail scrap purchasing, mobile car crushing, and roll-off box delivery and pick-up.The commitment at both Going Green facilities is first and foremost to provide a better overall recycling experience. Environmental Practices

One of the very reasons Going Green's parent company (IMG) was founded was because owner and president Randy Schlipp saw a need for a more responsible approach in metals recycling. Not only have IMG and both Going Green locations benefited from our founder's vision for proactive care and concern toward the environment, but the entire industry has benefited from our innovations, as well.Our proprietary Auto Tap Fluid Removal Station, invented and designed by our own Randy Schlipp, establish IMG, and all of our yards, as leaders in the environmentally friendly processing of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. The Auto Tap is a portable station that makes it fast, easy, and safe to remove all fluids from a vehicle before it is crushed for processing. The Auto Tap doesn't just help us to safely drain all fluids, it also makes it possible for both Going Green locations to recycle all vehicle fluids, as we are even able to use them in heating our facilities in the winter.
