At Hoehn Plastics we are a proud provider of custom process solutions, offering toll grinding services to customers for a variety of applications. Our ISO 9001:2008 certified facility is home to state-of-the-art equipment including large capacity shredders and grinders. We also utilize 2 elutriator systems that separate materials of varying densities to effectively pull dust and fine contamination. Our shredders boast a feed throat size of 4' x 4', able to handle the grinding of large bales of material and purgings. We process volumes of up to 2 million pounds per month.
Our team works cooperatively across departments to carry out the grinding, blending, extruding and transporting of product. We are committed to meeting the highest quality levels, thoroughly analyzing incoming and outgoing materials. Inspection protocols include the visual checking of product appearance, and melt flow index comparisons. A standard series of tests are used to assess material properties including specific gravity and density, impact testing, ash content, and durometer hardness testing. Customers can also trust us with their warehousing, storage, and transportation needs, as we have 150,000 square feet of warehousing space, 400,000 pounds of silo capacity, and manage a fleet of 125 dry vans and 4 bulk tankers. PLASTIC RECYCLING

We process over 4.2 million pounds of material per month, utilizing cutting edge equipment to carry out shredding and grinding as required. These systems utilize various processes to ensure the feedstock remain contamination free allowing us to maintain a reputation as a respected supplier of high quality pellets and regrinds for a broad range of end uses.We offer a comprehensive selection of services including the large volume buying and selling of plastic, warehousing and storage, and transportation utilizing our own fleet of 125 dry vans and 4 bulk tankers. Our ISO 9001:2008 certified operations meet and maintain the highest industry standards, implementing an exhaustive testing and inspections protocol to ensure quality. PLASTIC PURCHASING

At Hoehn Plastics we are a respected large volume plastic purchasing specialist, with over 25 years of experience participating in the wholesale marketplace for commodity and engineering grade plastics, polymers, and resins. We purchase all forms of resin including virgin, prime virgin, regrind, scrap, reprocessed, off spec, wide spec, unground, obsolete, post-industrial, and post-consumer. Base resins include PP acrylic, ABS, ASA, HDPE, LLDPE, TPO, and PC, as well as materials with fillers such as calcium carbonate, fiberglass, and mineral filled. Our experts work to provide premium returns for the value of customer scrap material.
Alongside our purchasing activities we are happy to offer a number of value added services including toll grinding, toll compounding, plastics recycling, warehousing, and storage. Transportation is taken care of with our in house fleet of trucks and trailers. BLENDING SERVICES

The blending capabilities we offer at Hoehn Plastics includes batch blending and toll blending services, providing superior consistency for a variety of customer applications. Blending is carried out in our state-of-the-art Vertimix blending system, which boasts capacities of up to 50,000 lbs. We perform internal blending for the manufacturing of our proprietary products, and invite customers to take advantage of this service in our ISO 9001:2008 certified facilities to enhance their offerings. Customers can expand existing product lines and increase production capabilities, or leverage our services for a cost effective manufacturing partnership. We handle truck load quantities, and have a current production volume of 25 million pounds per year.
Blends are available from a range of material options, including Polypropylene, Acrylic, ABS, ASA, HDPE, HIPS, PC, TPO and others. Blends are customizable to meet customer needs, and we maintain confidentiality over customer's sensitive manufacturing practices and blends. The highest standards of quality are met, with a full system of testing and inspections implemented to ensure purity and accuracy. We will plan and coordinate the details of storage and delivery as required, as we have warehousing capabilities of over 150,000 square feet, can hold 400,000 lbs in silos, and manage a fleet of trucks.

LOGISTICS SERVICES

At Hoehn Plastics we offer our customers a wide range of value-added, effective logistics services, handling all aspects of production management from point of origin to final destination including the storage, packing, tracking, and transportation of goods. We work with our customers to develop programs tailored to suit their business needs and goals, with program elements that are integrated seamlessly into existing operations. Available services include procurement, inventory control, receiving, sorting, warehousing, relabeling, repacking, tracking/notification, and transportation services. We utilize our dedicated fleet to provide cross docking and JIT deliveries which can accommodate virtually any size load including LTL and FCL. Efficient ground deliveries are made by trucks, flatbed, and trailers. International reach is reliably assured with our intermodal transportation network featuring marine logistics and rail. Door-to-door, next day AM, next day PM, and two day service are available.
