High Tech is your easy, affordable solution for your recycling needs.  We pick up your old computer and electronic equipment from your home, office, or commercial site.At High Tech Recycling, we are committed to recycling or re-purposing 100% of the items we receive. Items that cannot be refurbished or repaired are broken down into their individual components and recycled.

Recycling

Tube televisions are costly to recycle properly. We can take them, but do charge for removal, based on the size of the TV and your location. Appliances such as refrigerators, dehumidifiers, and air conditioners MUST have Freon removed, AND be tagged by the certified technician who removed it.

Data Destruction

High Tech Recycling offers two secure ways to protect your data and personal information:

Degaussing
Our professional degaussing machine can completely and permanently erase the data from your hard drives, floppy disks, and data tapes. Degaussing renders hard drives and most data tapes unusable once complete.

Drive wiping
Hard drives are wiped using Department Of Defense 5220.22 M compliant software. The data is securely erased, while allowing the disc to be re-used.
