From modest beginnings, the firm operates three scrap yards that manage 160,000 tons of inventory. It boasts a fleet of tractor trailers and rolloff containers that exceed 200 units. In addition, it utilizes multiple cranes, loaders, shears and balers throughout the operations.
Herman Strauss has two large nonferrous warehouses where aluminum, brass, copper, stainless, titanium and other metals are customized for specific markets.
