History Fosters our Future

Gruber Pallets Inc. was founded in 1987 by Dale R Gruber. Gruber, a natural leader and entrepreneur, was working as a semi-truck driver for 10 years. He soon began picking up old and damaged pallets in need of repair and fixed them up in his garage. Soon Gruber recruited the help of his cousin - who later became GPI's first official employee - to help deliver pallets to companies in need of reliable, usable pallets.As demand grew and Gruber's reputation spread, he quit his job as a truck driver and established the company. Gruber moved the business out of his garage to his current location in Lake Elmo, where he now employs over 60 employees.In addition to pallets, Gruber expanded the business to include wood mulch and animal bedding made out of recycled pallets and materials.Gruber Pallets continues to be a family-owned and operated business that focuses on providing outstanding customer service and superior products.Interested in learning more? Gruber Pallets actively secures pallets to fulfill our commitments for our valued customers. We service companies with quantities as few as 100 pallets and up to a full truck load. We can also offer to station a trailer at your facility for your loading convenience.If your pallets can be repaired and re-sold then we will purchase them at a fair market price. If you have a large quantity of a size not listed above, payment is still possible depending on total quantity and grade.We also pick up and dispose your scrap pallets and all your wood waste.Every situation is different, so let our professional sales staff help you determine the solution that works best for you.

Recycled Pallets

Gruber Pallets offers a variety of used and recycled wooden pallets as affordable alternatives to new pallets. Every pallet is sorted, inspected, and repaired to meet the quality standards of our customers. For sizes that we do not routinely stock, we build custom remanufactured pallets using reclaimed lumber from dismantled pallets.We also provide Heat Treat services for any of our pallets that need to be compliant with federal export requirements.

Lumber Sources

Gruber Pallets can supply your pallet needs using all-new lumber if that is what your company or application requires. We partner with several local lumber mills to ensure availability and dependable quality. We construct our pallets from mixed hardwoods and softwoods and are also able to Heat Treat your pallets for ISPM 15 compliant exportation.
