Greene's Recycle does not buy material that we know or suspect to be stolen. Greene's operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and, when asked, cooperates fully with all Law Enforcements Agencies.There are many reasons why Greene's will decline to puchase some items. Some times the purchase is prohibited by law, other times we cannot resale the item to our buyers. In rare cases, we simply are not interested in buying certain products. WHAT KINDS OF METAL?

Broadly speaking, there are two types of metals: ferrous and non-ferrous. Ferrous metals are those containing iron and are generally ferromagnetic (attracted to a magnet). Some examples are steel and cast iron. Non-ferrous metals contain no iron and are generally not ferromagnetic, such as brass and copper. Non-ferrous metals usually demand a higher price.
