Goodwill E-cycle

Goodwill E-cycle is our electronics recycling and refurbishment service, addressing the growing issue of electronic waste. As the pace of technology continues to increase, so does the volume of computers, tablets and phones that need to be recycled or refurbished. E-waste is the most rapidly growing segment of the municipal solid waste stream.

Goodwill has been recycling and repurposing since our beginnings over 100 years ago. Keeping millions of pounds of electronic waste out of landfills was a natural fit for our organization and our mission of being socially and environmentally responsible. Our recycling and refurbishment work takes place in a newly designed processing facility that uses the latest technology and equipment to handle materials.

Mission Statement :

Goodwill E-cycle is a subsidiary of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin and Metropolitan Chicago, the largest of more than 162 Goodwill organizations in the world. Goodwill E-cycle is able to employ and train people with disabilities and disadvantages in the recycling and refurbishment of computers and other electronics. This process also has the additional benefit of bridging the technology gap in society by providing affordable resale opportunities for quality computers and other electronics.  

Revenue from these operations is reinvested in the communities we serve. Goodwill believes in the power of work to transform lives. Customers who work with Goodwill E-cycle are supporting the people we serve, right here in our community, through our partnership.
