The company was incorporated twenty years ago and is managed by Chris Cassell (president and CEO), who has twenty five years of experience in the scrap metal and solid waste business. Three generations after we started, GIM is still growing and changing to meet the needs of the scrap metal industry. With our state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to keep up with the demanding world of scrap metal recycling. GIM owns and operates the only MOE certified solid waste transfer station in the area.

Recycling
All deliverables are processed using an auto shredder, balers, grapples and other equipment designed to process all ferrous and non-ferrous materials in a safe and efficient manner. The processed material is sold to various end markets to be used for re-use. Such products are tires, aluminum, cardboard, steel, copper, brass, lead, etc.
Scrap Metal Recycling
Got metal? We pay cash for your scrap! If you have appliances, vehicles, boats, pop cans or any other pieces of metal just laying around taking up space, these items could be putting cash in your pocket! The metals are weighed separately so the customer receives fair market value for their scrap. Bring them in to one of our two sites and we'll pay you cash on the spot.
Roll-off Containers
GIM offers 10, 20, 30 and 40 cubic yd. containers for customers to accomplish all types of waste and recycling removal, from small clean-ups to large renovations. We take nearly all materials in our containers – the only materials we don’t take is hazardous waste like paint, pesticides, asbestos-based materials, contaminated soil, etc. Price is based on size, location and complexity of the disposal. However, you could also receive money if there are products we can sell for reuse. When you call us, we can let you know more about what we accept and what can or cannot be placed in our bins (such as propane tanks and batteries).
Frontload Containers
Do you have a business but don't know what to do with the pile of packaging material you accumulate every week? How many garbage bags or cardboard boxes do you stack at the back of your building, waiting for garbage day? GIM has your solution. We offer two, four, six and eight cubic yard containers that are used for waste or cardboard purposes. These bins can be lifted as often as you require. We can designate a container for cardboard and one for garbage and front load containers can be placed at your location for permanent use.
