First Recycling LLC is a privately held company headquartered in Laredo Texas with expertise in polymer processing and recycling operations.

We began as a Polyethylene Terephthalate PET-1 plastic sourcing and aggregation company. We started acquiring PET mainly in the form of plastic bottles in raw tonnage for processing. We classify (sort), regrind to specification and separate labels via a mechanized washing process, offering bulk tonnage of PET-1 plastic classified by color, regrind size specification and delivery condition either de-labeled (wash) or unwashed.

Today First Recycling LLC operates and manages all materials collected by The City of Laredo Recycling Program. We are responsible of receiving, sorting, processing, classifying and bailing the incoming recycled material. Once the material is classified and bailed, First Recycling LLC is also responsible for the shipping and sales of the materials to end-users.

We also help the City of Laredo research and develop a 15 years plan to increase the recycling materials in Laredo Texas. As result of our research and planning process the city had invested on a large scale recycling facility and recollection method, as a result of the investments we have achieve a 300% increase in recyclable materials and run profitable operation. Our main objective is to divert materials from the landfill and maximize the quantity of recyclables processed.
