Felix Gormley Used Metal Disposals Ltd is now nationally recognised as a leading name in the removal and processing of scrap metal. We are a small family run business operating from a four acre site in Monery, Crossdoney, Co Cavan, since 1985. Our specialised Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) complies with all local and national regulations.

All oils and fluids are stored in their own special tanks and containers. We are affiliated to REPAKelt for the legal disposals of tyres. Batteries and all hazardous waste are removed off site in compliance with EU hazardous waste regulations. We buy all grades of ferrous and non- ferrous metals you can deliver your scrap metal to our facility or we can collect it.

Ferrous scrap is scrap from iron and steel; this includes metal from old cars, household appliances, steel beams, railroad tracks, ships, food packaging and other containers. Non-ferrous metal is anything other than iron and steel, e.g. Aluminium (file and cans), copper, lead, zinc, nickel etc. We recycle aluminium engines and gearboxes on site in our own sloping heart furnace ensuring that we are in a position to offer car breakers or the once off customer the best value for their items.
