The idea behind EZA Recycling Solutions – that what we throw away can be worth money – originated during a childhood trip to a recycling center. Owner and founder Ezekiel Setne was nine when he first tagged along with his parents to return some of the family’s empty aluminum soda cans, and it wasn’t long before he was raking in $10/month by rounding up and bagging the cans himself. Soon after, he expanded operations to handle the spare parts he had from working on cars with his father.
At 16 Setne entered community college, using profits from fixing cars and recycling their spare parts to pay tuition. When it became apparent that his current business wouldn’t cover the cost of attending a university he again looked to expand. During regular conversations with his father (a Vibration Analyst at a sand and gravel quarry in Bridgeport, Texas) Setne had heard that rock mines would often have trouble getting rid of their waste materials. Scrap conveyor belt, scrap poly pipe, and scrap metal would pile up in the boneyard and the maintenance supervisor would get stuck calling a handful of companies to clean it up. Setne had been recycling metal for a decade now and had some experience with plastics, but rubber belting was far more difficult to handle -- the industry standard at the time was simply to pay contractors to take it to a landfill. After several months of research and negotiation he worked out a way to actually buy conveyor belt, and using the profits he made from repairing a Honda S2000, he purchased his first truckload of mining waste. A bit of paperwork later, EZA Recycling Solutions was born.
Small shipments of belt, pipe, and metal began to add up, and EZA began to make a name for itself as a one-stop shop for plant managers and maintenance supervisors. Setne finished school and ran the company himself with only a small team of contractors. The next big step was working out the logistics of plant demolition such that he could pay mines to tear down their old structures and recycle the metal. This new service drew attention from quarries that were accustomed to hiring contractors for the exact same projects, and Setne used it to build relationships with some of the largest mining companies in the world.
Today, EZA Recycling Solutions still works with its original mining clients and has expanded to handle large-scale recycling projects in several other industries. In addition to its core focus of conveyor belt, HDPE pipe, and metals, EZA now recycles a variety of waste materials that can be found in industrial quantities.
We buy and recycle industrial materials in bulk quantities – materials like rubber conveyor belt, poly pipe and other plastics, scrap metal, and industrial vehicles. We also do free demolition of metal structures and we'll pay you for the scrap metal generated by the teardown.

We've been in this business since 2007. We are experts in the recycling industry but we go a step further – we know your industry. This knowledge means we can solve your problems in innovative ways and anticipate issues before they arise.
We take your bulk recyclable materials, pay you for them, and find a new use for them to ensure they don't end up in a landfill – even things you wouldn't imagine could be reused. And in most cases, once we take them, we'll pay you for them.
We buy rolled or wound conveyor belt (rubber, fabric, or steel cable) worldwide in any condition and any size, no matter what the belt was used for or how dirty or clean it may be. We are the true no hassle used and scrap conveyor belt purchaser. We can also purchase un-rolled conveyor belting depending on the location of the belt.
We buy conveyor belt in minimum quantities of 30,000 pounds, but sometimes we can also handle smaller loads depending on the location of the belt. We ship on standard 50-foot flatbed trucks which can be loaded with telescopic forklifts (such as a Skytrak) or a small crane. We will weigh our truck in and out on your scales and pay for your material based on your scale weight.
We typically have 14 day payment terms but special payment arrangements such as wire transfers or hand delivered checks can be made on request. The price we can pay for conveyor belting depends on the location of the belt, and the quantity available.
We buy ALL conveyor belting from the aggregate, mining and cement industry.
If you are not sure if you have the minimum quantity of 30,000 pounds of conveyor belt, just send us some pictures of all the belting you have for sale, with some details about the width, length, and thickness of each roll. From that, we can tell you if we will be able to pick it up yet, or if we need to wait until you have accumulated more waste belting. We do not need exact measurements, just pictures of each roll and a brief description of the size.
We provide free small and large scale demolition services for metal structures and we can typically pay for the the scrap we demolish. We can provide full container service to handle your maintenance and other metal waste streams.
We can provide boneyard clean-ups of scrap metal and other various items at very competitive rates. We also offer a range of other clean-up solutions for our customers, many of which don't even require them to lift a finger.

We recycle materials using a number of different techniques. Our dogma of green recycling techniques is reduce first, reuse second, repurpose third, and recycle fourth. For instance it is more efficient and much more beneficial to use conveyor belt as is, rather than cutting, grinding or shredding and wasting the energy required to do this.
Once conveyor belts can no longer be used as conveyor belts, rather than being cut or shred into raw materials, they can be reused a gym floors, cow mats, dock bumpers, etc. When the belts can no longer be used for those purposes they can be reused as gasket materials and thin rubber sheeting. And finally once the belt can no longer be used in these applications it can then be shredded and used as a rubber mulch material, or turned into fuel oil.
Essentially this conveyor belt can have four or more different lives, and save a lot of energy through repurposing.
We are committed to cleaning up the environment, and conserving as much of our natural resources as possible. So why not help out the environment while putting some money back into your company budget, making your facility look a lot better, and getting rid of the materials that are cluttering your workspace?
