Get recycling bins to make it easier to recycle! The City of Saint Paul provides blue bins for curbside recycling at no charge to Saint Paul residents- you can pick them up from your district council. Find out which district council you live in by checking this Map. No plastic bags please! If you chose to provide your own recycling bins, please make sure that they are approximately the same size as the standard recycling bins (14-18 gallons).
Saint Paul currently uses a single-sort recycling system which allows you to mix all of your recyclables together. Eureka Recycling is committed to improving single-stream so that each bottle, can, and piece of paper can be put to its highest environmental use. Moving to single-sort allowed more plastics to be collected and recycled but any #3 or #6 plastics still are not accepted. Putting these plastics or any other trash in recycling carts only increases the cost of recycling and reduces revenues that would go back to your community.
Recycling is collected every other week in Roseville. There is a Green Week and a Blue Week. If you need to find out which week your neighborhood recycles please call our Zero Waste Hotline. To ensure your materials are collected, always have your recycling out by 7:00 a.m., or the night before your collection day. Sometimes our routes change and we may come through your neighborhood at a different time of day from week to week.
