All vehicles must bear a valid license plate. Commercial / Residential DemolitionThe demand for new housing fuels the need for recycling. As both cities and rural areas undergo urban development, there is an increasing volume of valuable metal scrap that needs to be processed and ultimately made into new steel products.

The items below are not able to be recycled by Elkton Recycling.

• Propane tanks (acceptable if cut in half)
• Gas and Oil Tanks – (Must have 1ft by 1ft hole cut in them, or be cut in half)
• Freon containing units (must be able to certify CFC/HCFC has been removed prior to delivery to our facility)
• Radioactive material
• Tires (subject to disposal fee)
• Barrels, drums, pails, buckets, and paint por aerosol cans
• Garbage, rags, paper, or other non-metallic items
• Computer monitors and TV’s
• Capacitors
• Fluorescent light ballast
