In 1906 Frank Cohn and Max Kamensky, opened a scrap business in Columbus, Georgia. In 1964, Max's son Harry Kamensky, took over and expanded the business acquiring E.J. Knight in 1985. Through the years, the company has continued to grow. Now, over 100 years later, Mark Kamensky - grandson and great nephew of the original founders - operates the 14 acre recycling facility with over 50 employees offering service throughout the southeast United States.
