Thank you for considering eCycle for your electronics and computer recycling needs. eCycle has partnered with hundreds of corporations in Knox and the surrounding counties to help cull down their eWaste, keep their workspaces organized, and Go Green!eCycle was formed when we realized the tremendous need our local businesses had to correctly dispose of their electronic and computer ewaste. What started as a venture has grown into a venue collecting as much as 40,000 lbs of recyclable material per month. We take great pride in knowing that we are providing a much needed service while helping keep our planet green!
eCycle accepts all electronic, computer and metal waste including printers and appliances. We are a licensed electronics recycle business and use R2 certified recycle companies for our downstream channels. The security of our client’s data is of upmost importance. eCycle uses military grade data erasure software to completely erase all data from recycled media. We offer Certificates of Destruction as proof that equipment and data is recycled and/or destroyed.eCycle supports many non-profit organizations in the area by re-purposing good, used equipment and helping them connect and set up workstations. Focus Ministries, Water Angels, Kick Stand, and American Association for Cancer Support are just a few of the organizations that eCycle has been able to help this year because of the recycle partnerships we have with so many local businesses.

Residential Services

Due to the logistical challenges of home pickups, we prefer residential customers drop off their items at our place of business during regular business hours. If you have an excessive amount of equipment we can schedule a pickup but, would need additional time to coordinate it with other pickups in the surrounding area.Other options for residential clients include organizing a multi-home pickup in your subdivision or area as well as bringing your items to your place of work and having them picked up there. Ask other coworkers or business management if they have items to add. This will help make our trip more productive.

There is no minimum size for pickups and our pick up and recycling services are free of charge however, due to the fact that televisions, CRT computer monitors and large appliances are non-recyclable we have to pay to have them disposed of properly.  To offset these costs we charge a fee to clients if more than 20% of load weight is made up of these items.  These fees are normally $30 per television and appliance and $5 per CRT monitor. 

What items are not accepted?
eCycle does not accept light bulbs, fluorescent bulbs, glass, CRT or rear-projection televisions, media tapes and VCR tapes, hazardous, flammable, radioactive, or corrosive items.
