E-Cycle Environmental's mission is to provide businesses with simple turn-key solutions that promote green practices throughout the work place.Currently vast quantities of waste from the United States is exported to third world countries for recycling. In many cases the wastes are toxic and considered hazardous by the EPA. In third world countries there are no environmental laws, so things can be recycled with no regard for the health of the people or the environment. E-Cycle Environmental supports the Domestic Recycling Campaign and attempts to partner with organizations that recycle locally in the United States. Domestic Recycling is a campaign that embraces recycling in the United States because ethical and environmental methods are utilized. Domestic Recycling also helps strengthen the US's weakening economy by promoting jobs on our soil.E-Cycle Environmental understands that the recycling industry has challenges, but believes Domestic Recycling will truly bring a better today and tomorrow.

E-Cycle Environmental Green Initiatives:

• Our Truck Fleet is completely carbon offset with TerraPass. We also offer our clients the ability to carbon offset each aspect of their entire transaction if requested.
• We recycle all consumables in our offices. Whether its paper, plastic, or glass it gets separated and sent to the appropriate recycling facility.
• All of our office equipment is used. Any office furniture that is worthy and can avoid landfill is reused at all or our locations.
• E-Cycle Environmental was founded by two outdoors men who have a vested interest in what happens to our environment. Our organization is built and designed around solid business principles focused on supporting the planet. The environment is the driving force behind E-Cycle Environmental, thus the reason we have implemented one of the world's most environmentally friendly recycling organizations.

RECYCLING COMPUTERS AND ELECTRONIC WASTE

The use of electronic products has grown substantially over the past two decades. Statistics from the Computer Take Back campaign show that people buy a staggering number of new computers each year. People purchased over 305 million new computers worldwide in 2009. E- Cycle Environmental is a big advocate of The Plug-In To eCycling Campaign. It is one of many efforts under EPA's Resource Conservation Challenge (RCC) which seeks to increase the national recycling rate to 35 percent, among other goals.Ecycling or computer recycling is an easy way for residents and corporate America to make a difference by keeping electronics out of landfill.

LEAD ACID BATTERY RECYCLING

The demand for battery use continues to increase every year. This is due to more and more electronic devices such as cellular phones, laptops, video cameras, battery powered tools, toys, and many other portable devices.As this waste stream continues to grow, so does the need to make sure batteries are recycled. Many batteries contain toxic constituents such as, mercury, lead, and cadmium. Fortunately, batteries are recyclable! However, it is a very tedious and regulated process due to the high level of toxins residing within the battery cores.E-Cycle Environmental can come to your location to pick up and recycle any type of battery chemistry. We handle large industrial batteries all the way down to the small batteries found in a watch. We have two programs that we currently supply to the residential and corporate sector.

AIRCRAFT AND AIRPLANE RECYCLING

It’s estimated 6,000 to 8,000 commercial aircraft are expected to be retired. The good news for the planet is 80 percent of aircraft can be recycled! Another important fact is that majority of the recyclable components on an aircraft are valuable. The parts that have the highest demand include engines, landing gear, winglets, and avionics.E-Cycle Environmental utilizes a unique refining process in the United States that allows us to retrieve a higher return on the precious metals residing on the aviation parts. Hence we are able to offer 10-20 percent more than our competition!
