No-Sort Recycling with Earth Circle

Single stream recycling allows our customers to combine all different types of recyclable materials into one container. There is no need for separation! The single stream process makes it easy to recycle.

Commingled Containers:

• Aluminum cans, trays, foil (trays and foil must be clean to be collected)
• Aseptic packaging & gable top containers (milk and juice containers)
• steel and tin cans (including aerosol)
• Glass Bottles and Jars (clear, green and brown only)—NO window glass, dinnerware, ceramics or lightbulbs
• #1 Plastic - soda, water and flavored beverage bottles
• #2 Plastic - milk & juice jugs, detergent bottles
• #3 Plastic - (narrow neck containers only) health & beauty aid products, household cleaners
• #4 Plastic - margarine tubs, frozen dessert cups, six and twelve pack rings
• #5 Plastic - yogurt cups, narrow neck syrup and ketchup bottles
• #7 Plastic - (narrow neck containers only) other plastics
• Plastic Buckets - kitty litter containers
  (5 gallon size maximum)
• NO #6 Polystyrene. Please refrain from placing #6 plastic in your bin

Residential Paper Fiber: 

• Newspaper, including inserts (remove plastic sleeves)
• Magazines, catalogs and telephone books
• Office paper, computer paper, notebook and gift wrap paper (no metal clips, spirals, binders or foil gift wrap)
• Mail, junk mail, envelopes, envelopes with windows (no plastic cards, stick on labels or unused stamps)
• Kraft (brown paper) bags
• Paper back books (no hard cover books)
• Cardboard (no waxed cardboard such as wax coated produce boxes) CARDBOARD MUST BE BROKEN DOWN
• Chipboard - cereal, cake and food mix boxes, gift boxes
• Carrier stock - soda and beer can carrying cases

Other Not Accepted Materials:

• No motor oil, insecticide, herbicide or hazardous chemical containers
• No plastic bags - materials that are placed in plastic bags will not be collected
• No plastic film - plastic sheets, tarps or wrap
• No expanded foam or clear polystyrene
• Appliances and electronics 

Electronics Recycling

Below is a list of electronics accepted at our St. Louis recycling center. Please note that a small fee applies to CRT Televisions and CRT Computer Monitors.

• Communication Equipment - Cell phones, cordless phones, landline phones, rotary phones, pagers, answering machines, network phone systems, satellite phones, two-way radios, wires and cables.

• Computer Equipment - CRT Monitors - Fee of $.35 per lb.Flat Screens - N/C -All-in-one computer/monitors, CPUs, flatscreen monitors, laptops/notebooks, CD/CDRW drives, hard drives, printers, scanners, speakers, DVD, ZIP and floppy drives, modems,routers, keyboards, mice, power supplies and cables.

• Office Equipment - Adding machines, copiers, fax machines, printers, scanners, projectors, shredding machines

• Miscellaneous Electronic Equipment - CRT Televisions - Fee of $.35 per lb Flat Screens - N/C .

Perfect for Residential and Small Business Shredding and Recycling!

Shred on Demand up to 16 inches in width, up to 1/2 inch thick, any length. Plus, you watch the shredding process. Staples and paperclips, okay! Customers who take 200 lbs. of paper to an office supply chain can pay over $100! Save money, complete the loop and keep it green. Our "You Watch it Shredding Center" is on Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Commercial Pick-Up Recycling Services

Earth Circle welcomes commercial recycling customers. Because recycling services cost less than trash services, we encourage companies to contact us for a waste audit. An Earth Circle representative can meet with you to design a recycling program to fit your specific needs. Commercial recycling may be able to save your business money, while saving our natural resources.

Our commercial pick-up service is also single stream. You won't have to sort any of your recyclables with Earth Circle.
