The Woodinville site is one of Snohomish County's premier processing sites for construction, demolition. This site accepts  CDL, concrete, demolition materials, drywall, wood, and comp and shake roofing. The facility offers a full operating scale that is capable of receiving a variety of materials for recycling. Materials are sorted into separate bins to be reused and recycled.
Construction, demolition. and land clearing waste represents over 25% of the material sent to landfills in Seattle. These materials can be recovered to help increase diversion rates and preserve our precious resources. Our processing facilities recycle 100% of the clean wood and drywall materials we receive. Once recycled into new products, we ship recycled gypsum and paper products to manufacturing and agricultural companies throughout the Northwest.

Our trained staff safely sorts through the materials and organizes all of them into the correct containers so that each type of material can be recycled properly. We have a number of recycling facilities located in the greater Seattle area.We believe that disposing of building debris is an important issue facing the construction and demolition industry and that "green building" is an essential element to better building practices. Utilizing recycled materials in new construction reduces costs and eliminates the majority of building waste which would otherwise be added to our regional landfills.The benefits of recycling include lowering the amount of waste in landfills and requiring less energy to create new products. Drywall waste accounts for 11% by volume and 26% by weight of construction debris.Wood waste accounts for 24% by volume and 42% by weight.If you factor drywall waste at 20% of the square footage of drywall hung, waste for one house would weigh 1.38 tons!

• Biomedical waste
• Black plastic garbage bags filled with debris (not opened for safety reasons)
• Burned materials
• Commercial garbage
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Gas-filled containers (e.g. propane)
• Hazardous materials or anything containing hazardous materials
• Household garbage
• Lead paint
• Liquids, items containing liquid and saturated material
• Materials that present a risk to our employees, equipment or facilities are recycled only at the discretion of the Site Supervisor
• Non-recyclable materials are more than 10% of load weight
• Plate glass and windows
• Regulated materials that are regulated by state or federal environmental or hazardous substance laws
• Treated or painted wood
• Utility or telephone poles
