We are a family-owned business in operation since 1959, located on 38 acres one mile east of Highway 85 on 8th Street in Greeley, Colorado.

Andersen's Sales & Salvage, Inc. began in 1959 as a small auto salvage business on this current location in Greeley, Colorado. The decades of the 70s and 80s brought expansion to a late-model full-service salvage yard.With our first shredder installation in 1995, Andersen's began the transition to a full-service scrap yard and a self-service auto parts yard.The current shredder, commissioned in 2008, brings Andersen's into the premier auto-shredding industry, with complete ferrous and non-ferrous production lines.Additional installations of sorting equipment, including the patented IQASR air separation system, allow Andersen's to process fully and recycle metals that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

• You will get to the Warehouse by crossing the East Scales -- wait for instruction from an Andersen's employee before entering the Warehouse
• You are responsible for unloading your materials, which will then be weighed on a scale
• Take the ticket from the Warehouse to the Main Office to be validated for cash or check
• If you wish to receive cash (up to $2000), you will then go the the EZ Cash Machine in the parking lot. Anything quantity over $2000 will be written as a check; any quantity under $100 will be issued as cash.
• You will then be unloaded by a magnet or grapple you have the option to hand unload your vehicle

Selling Vehicles

Sales of vehicles require a CURRENT VALID US GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID. A Title or State of Colorado Bill of Sale is required for the sale of a vehicle. If you do not have an official State of Colorado Bill of Sale, one will be filled out for you. For cars less than 10 years old the signed title will be required.

What We Recycle

We recycle scrap iron, vehicles, farm equipment, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, lead, radiators, lead/acid core batteries, household appliances (fridges must be drained of freon), aluminum cans, and catalytic converters.

• From Loveland (West): Take US-34 East, turn onto US-85 North, turn East on 8th Street in Greeley, in approximately 1 mile, we will be on your right.

• From Denver (South): Take I-25 North, take Exit 216A to merge onto I-76 East toward Ft. Morgan, take exit 12 to merge onto US-85 North, turn East on 8th Street in Greeley, in approximately 1 mile, we will be on your right.

• From Fort Morgan (East): Take I-76 West, take Exit 66B to merge onto Co Rd R/US-34 West toward Greeley/Estes Park, turn right onto Co Rd 53 (North), follow for approximately 2.5 miles, turn left onto Co Rd 60 1/2 (West), follow for approximately 3 miles, continue on to E. 8th Street. In approximately 2 miles we will be on your left.
