B&K Salvaging is a family owned and operated industrial recycling company located in Chatham-Kent Ontario. The company was started by John Kervoelen and incorporated in April 1994. It is still ran by John and his wife Tracy, and their two sons Derek and Darren.

In July of 2008 the company expanded it’s operations with the purchase of Chatham-Kent Recycling in Merlin, Ontario which is a post-consumer recycling company, handling the sorting of blue box waste and e-waste in Chatham-Kent.

In 2012, Chatham-Kent Recycling started purchasing all Ferrous Materials and Non-Ferrous Materials. Today the company strives to be a leader in Industrial and consumer recycling through the Chatham-Kent & Windsor/Essex areas.

Chatham-Kent Recycling is a post-consumer recycling company and handles all of the sorting of blue box waste in the Chatham-Kent area. We also were one of the first e-waste depots in the Chatham-Kent area. We are now purchasing all Ferrous Materials and Non-Ferrous Materials.

Chatham-Kent Recycling offers the best pricing around for your ferrous and nonferrous materials, we accept all types of metals from copper to aluminum, heavy machinery, and much more. Chatham-Kent Recycling also accepts used electronics. We are approved by OES (Ontario Electronics Stewardship) to accept old TVs, computer, cell phones, printers and much more.

Chatham-Kent Recycling now offers Roll-Off Services. Temporary roll-off containers are available for your site clean up as well as on-going production. These bins can be used for all Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Materials and a variety of other recyclable materials.
