Capital Paper Recycling Ltd. is one of Canada’s largest independent paper recycling companies. Established in 1995, Capital Paper Recycling Ltd. is a major paper recycler & shredding provider servicing corporate, institutional and industrial markets. With a fleet of trucks on the road collecting recyclable material daily, Capital Paper services customers from small offices to large corporate & industrial clientele, municipal governments and rural communities.

We supply collection bins and carts of all sizes, balers, compactors, inter-office consoles and bags to suit our clients’ needs. Each recycling program that we offer is fully customizable, based on the requirements of our client. Nothing is too small; nothing is too large for Capital Paper Recycling Ltd to handle.

In Calgary and Edmonton the paper is securely collected and hauled to one of two 40,000 sq ft facilities, which operate under 24 hour security surveillance. Our processing facilities are fully enclosed to ensure confidential storage, destruction and disposal of your important documents. One hundred percent of the collected paper and cardboard is recycled.

Recycling paper is one of the best and easiest solutions for our environment. Every piece of recycled paper helps protect our environment and reduces the need to cut our forests.

Recently we have expanded our recycling to accept clear film and HDPE clear plastic and all electronic components.

History

Capital Paper Recycling Ltd started out in 1995 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.Our first location was situated in a 4000 square foot industrial bay in the South East of Calgary. Capital Paper began as a three person outfit, owning just a single forklift, a 5 tonne truck and two downstroke balers.

After making its name as a quality service provider within the Calgary recycling industry Capital Paper Recycling Ltd expanded its operations to Alberta's Capital, opening a facility in Edmonton approximately four years later.

Business Cleanouts

Whether your business is closing, re-locating, or simply requires a spring clean within the office place, let Capital Paper Recycling Ltd help! We recognize that it can be a long and tedious process to sift through hundreds of folders, boxes or cabinets of documents and files.

Assorted sizes and styles of bins and carts on wheels can be supplied to ease the process of purging lots of paper and books stored in your office. Bins or carts may be wheeled right next to cabinets or into file rooms to eliminate heavy lifting or transporting of the files, prior to being destroyed & recycled.

Fill the carts or bins at your own pace, (as we understand these purges may contain confidential documents that require review and take time) and we will provide a pickup when you are ready.

Paper Shredding

Multiple office pickup recycling programs are offered by Capital Paper Recycling Ltd in both Calgary and Edmonton. All programs that are offered are fully customizable to make recycling easy for you and your business. We can provide multiple pickups per week to call-in pickups  - you determine the frequency based on your requirements. If you find that your pickup frequency is not working out well,  you may adjust your pickup schedule at no extra cost with a quick phone call to our office. We have the ability to provide office programs, from servicing one console at one location to servicing multiple consoles on multiple floors at multiple locations.  Our inventory of equipment can outfit your business with multiple styles of recycling containers or units for your needs. 

Plastics Recycling

In 2008, Capital Paper Recycling Ltd launched a plastics recycling program, providing pickups of baled HDPE & LDPE plastic as an added service to businesses that were already recycling with us.

Since then, our plastics recycling division has grown significantly to now accepting Coroplast, Vinyl, PVC and Poly Resins to name a few. Depending on the grade, quantity and quality of this material, financial payout for materials received may be a possibility.

Electronics Recycling

Capital Paper Recycling Ltd can provide one-time pickups of old and outdated electronics for recycling, or can pick up electronics on the same visit as your regular scheduled office document pickup program. Old computers & cords, telephones, monitors, keyboards, photocopiers, toner cartridges, microwaves and fax machines are the most common items picked up through this program.

Capital Paper is now able to provide expanded media destruction programs and secure electronic recycling practices to our list of services. We can securely destroy and reCapital Paper Electronics Recyclingcycle outdated electronics and electronic media. Not only is any and all digital information and media being destroyed by professionals, but it is being destroyed while working towards a greener planet in the process.
