BTL Pallet Corporation was founded in 1979 by Roger Lehman. The first order of pallets was manufactured in his home garage with the help of his three sons, Brett, Todd and Lance and delivered to a clothing manufacturer in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Expansion has caused BTL Pallet to move twice before settling in 1992 into its new eight paved acre location in Franklin, Wisconsin.BTL Pallet began business in 1979 as a "new" pallet manufacturer. Under the guidance of its current owner and President, Brett Lehman, BTL Pallet in 1992 ended its manufacturing of "new" pallets and began its current business, specializing exclusively in "recycled" pallets. This decision has allowed BTL to double in size 3 times in the last nineteen years. Since then, investments of over $1 million in buildings, automation, and transportation equipment has helped solidify BTL Pallet's position as Southern Wisconsin's #1 Used Pallet Recycling Center.

On the recycling side, we have implemented new quality control measures in conjunction with new conveyor line automation. These changes have allowed BTL Pallet to offer a high quality multi-inspected recycled pallet at a consistently competitive price. We are committed to providing our customers the best pallet available.BTL Pallet's average inventory of over 25,000 repaired pallets enables us to respond quickly, usually the same day, to your pallet supply emergencies. BTL also can manufacture "used" and "combo" pallets to your specifications. "Combo" pallets use a combination of new and used lumber to provide you with a "new" looking pallet at a more competitive price. Our delivery fleet of one 28 foot flatbed truck, ten semi-tractors and one hundred and ten 48 foot van trailers ensures timely delivery.

BTL Pallet also provides a scrap pallet removal service. BTL Pallet will remove pallets using either a flatbed or a van trailer. Please call us for more details. In cases where a large volume warrants, (over 300 pallets per month) BTL Pallet will spot a van trailer at your facility. When the trailer becomes full, just call us and we will pick up the full trailer and spot you another empty trailer.BTL Pallet is looking toward a bright future. Our Facilities
Our two buildings in Franklin comprise more than 20,000 square feet of covered production space. This provides us with a sizeable area to process, sort and repair your pallets. When the need arises, we also use these buildings for pallet storage to ensure a clean and dry product for our customers. Our 10,000 square foot building located at Quality Mulch provides us further flexibility to help run our pallet operations.

Our Trucking Equipment
During the past three years, BTL Pallet has purchased 7 new semi tractors for its fleet. These new tractors help us guarantee your deliveries and meet your production schedule. Our tractor fleet of 110 trailers is growing monthly. When you need pallets in a RUSH, we have the equipment to get it there. FAST!

Our Employees
Our current workforce of 30 experienced and well trained employees gives us the ability to process over 5,000 pallets daily. We pay our employees hourly and NOT piece rate. This is very important. It keeps our production running smoothly and allows them the time needed to build quality pallets.

We Sell

Recycled Pallets
These pallets are available in a wide range of sizes and specifications. All pallets are rigorously examined and repaired to the original specifications using quality recycled lumber. This reconditioning can result in savings of over 50%.

Custom Remanufactured Pallet
These pallets are built with lumber reclaimed from our pallet dismantling operation. This operation dismantles a pallet into its original components and discards the irreparable pieces. The lumber is then cut to size and used to build pallets to your exact specifications. The result is a custom pallet at a substantial cost savings.

Custom Remanufactured Pallet Top
These tops are built with lumber reclaimed from our pallet dismantling operation as well. The lumber is then cut to size and used to build pallet tops to your exact specifications. These tops are then assembled to your specifications.

Recycled Lumber
We reclaim tens of thousands of boards per day in our pallet dismantling operation. This operation uses horizontal band saws to take apart unwanted pallets. Cracked and damaged boards are ground into landscape mulch. This reclaimed lumber is then cut to size and sorted by thickness. This recycled lumber is commonly used by other pallet companies or packaging companies for creating their products.

Wood Waste Removal

Since 2001, BTL Pallet has been removing large quantities of wood waste from businesses in Southeastern Wisconsin. (loose wood, wood boxes, crates and wood packaging material) The majority of these loads have been in semi load quantities. Over the last 6 years we have received dozens of calls from companies asking us to take smaller loads. On January 1, 2010, BTL introduced a new program aimed at the small business that generates LESS than semi load quantities. 

Most waste removal companies charge between $300 - $450 per dumpster to remove your wood waste. By using BTL, you can fit the wood waste of 4 dumpsters into one neatly packed 48" semi trailer. We do not use dumpsters. Plus, by using BTL, your wood waste will be recycled into pallets or colored enviro-mulch and not placed into a landfill as all disposal companies do. Your decision to recycle will go a long way to help solve the nation's growing landfill problems. You and your company will become part of the solution and no longer part of the problem. (This service is only available for customers whose volume requires regular pickups.) 

What we can't take:
The material must be free of foam, plastics, and metal plates. If your wood contains these, they must be removed prior to our arrival. Our grinder will not be able to process this material as it will damage our equipment. Nails, screws, bolts or any metal that is bendable by hand is fine and will be recycled by BTL.
