Banner prides itself on responding to customer needs quickly. Our goal is to reply to all customer quote inquiries within hours after receipt. Currently, 90% of quotes received are processed in under 4 hours. Our team of Inside Sales Representatives has extensive experience in sourcing raw material, and thoroughly understands the need to be accurate while processing  quote requests quickly.  Banner employs knowledgeable Regional Sales Managers that bring real world  experience related to raw material and machining practices, providing the highest efficiencies to our customers. Our customers often rely on Banner for material selection guidance and processing information to attain the highest levels of quality and productivity from their equipment.

Vendor Managed Inventory

Banner Commercial offers a host of vendor managed inventory programs designed to reduce supply chain complexity while saving costs and time for our customers. We offer in-house, off-site, JIT, and custom tailored programs that meet the specific requirements of your business. Our vendor managed inventory programs are intended to improve material flow through your operation while providing a  constant stream of product to maintain optimal productivity.

QRM (Quick Response Manufacturing) is a University of Wisconsin-Madison based program that helps companies with low-volume, high-variability or custom-engineered products reduce their lead times in the marketplace. Banner adopted the QRM methodology in January 2014, allowing us to reduce lead times by 50% in areas of quoting, order entry, production and shipping.  Currently, 90% of all requests for quotes received are processed in under 4 hours. Before implementing QRM, lead times for products and services averaged 15-20 days after receipt of order. Since adopting and implementing QRM, average quoted lead times have dropped to 5 to 10 days depending on material availability and the size of the order received.
