History

Born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee, Stephen "Bubba" Miller has always felt strong ties to his hometown. Through his early years at Brentwood Academy, he represented his community both on the football field and the wrestling mat. After winning two state wrestling titles in 1990 and 1991, he went on to the University of Tennessee, where he started in 47 straight games from 1992-1996 and served as Captain of the team in 1995.After graduating from UT, he left the state to pursue a football career in the NFL. After playing six seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and one season with the New Orleans Saints, Bubba came back home to Middle Tennessee.

Upon returning to Franklin, Bubba bought an interest in Supershear LLC, which manufactures a portable hydraulic shear used to extract catalytic converters from "end of life" vehicles.After learning more about the recycling of catalytic converters, Bubba founded Arrington Metals in 2004. He spent three years developing Arrington Metals as one of the most trusted and respected businesses of its kind in the southeast.

In 2008, he expanded Arrington Metals, opening a new division called B. Miller Recycling.B Miller Recycling is a full-service scrap metal recycling facility located in west Franklin. We also offer containers and specialized scrap metal service to our commercial and industrial customers.

In 2014, B. Miller Recycling expanded its' operations to include the hauling and disposal of C & D waste. Serving a diverse range of customers from homeowners, to municipalities, to large-scale construction projects, B. Miller Recycling prides itself on meeting the customers needs and exceeding their expectations with reliable pick-ups and ability to get it done within the desired schedule.

B. Miller Recycling has also added dismantling and demolition to its list of services. We have dismantled and hauled away buildings ranging from one-bedroom residences to over 10,000 square foot commercial interests. This has met a great need in the Middle Tennessee area, helping our community to continue to grow and improve!

WHAT WE DO

SCRAP METAL RECYCLING:

We provide roll-off service for all different types of industries. We do light demolition ourselves, as well as service many C & D contractors by recycling the metal they pull out during their demolition projects. Additionally, B. Miller Recycling has 20, 30, 40, and 65-yard roll-off containers available (both open and closed models) for a wide range of uses by our commercial and industrial partners. These are available on different pick-up schedules based on volume and need.

B. Miller Recycling is open 6 days a week to service the recycling needs of Middle Tennessee’s residents. We buy from both scrap dealers as well as homeowners, farmers, and people who care about our planet. We receive all items made of metal, from aluminum cans to old appliances to plumbing supplies.


C & D WASTE HAULING:

B. Miller Recycling places dumpster boxes (both 20 yd and 30 yd) at your location. You fill them as you complete your construction project, then call when they are full. We will come pick them up and haul them off to be either recycled or taken to the landfill (depending on contents).
