Aurora Metals produces a wide range of nonferrous and ferrous casting alloys. Copper based (brass, bronze and copper) alloys make up the majority of our production and are cast using the vacuum die casting and permanent mold casting applications. At this time ferrous alloys (cast iron and stainless steel) are only produced in our no-bake sand foundry.
The proper choice of a copper based alloy is critical to the design and performance of the part. To assist you in that choice, the tables below provide specifications for the primary copper based alloys cast at Aurora Metals. If you are in need of an alloy that is not on the list, please contact our sales department for further information at 630-844-4900.
