The company history of Leber Rohstoffe goes back to 1943. The family business was founded by August Leber, which is now managed by his two sons. The traditional company has continued to develop decade after decade on the international market for the recycling of steel scrap and non-ferrous metals. In 1948, a concept for separating and processing steel scrap was developed. In 1964 the first dumpster swapping system was introduced in southern Germany. After numerous takeovers and investments, Leber Rohstoffe is now an international recycling company with around 150 employees. In the meantime, more than 50 company-owned vehicles of the most modern design are in use for the various tasks in the field of waste and recycling management.
We are a global recycling company. Environmental awareness and an ecological way of thinking are more and more a prerequisite for responsible action. Scrap and metal waste are valuable secondary raw materials. We ensure the professional collection, sorting and processing of the materials.
